HISTORY

In 1994, Restaurant Daus in Tàrrega opened its doors, offering different spaces: a cafeteria, a bookstore, a dining room-restaurant, a lounge for private events and a children’s playroom.

Its history dates back to Dau, a small snack bar located on Santa Maria Street in the city of Tàrrega. The older brother, Restaurant Daus, became a great challenge for a young entrepreneurial couple.

Albert and Carme have been the spirit of this restaurant, which they have made their own until it became a point of reference in the city and the province throughout its more than 30-year history.

The closeness with the customer, the feeling of being at home for different generations of Tàrrega residents and people from all over, have been the soul of this project where the illusions and the desire to continue learning and improving have never stopped since it opened its doors.

Large-scale annual events such as the theater fair consolidated it as a neuralgic center and a regular meeting and gathering place for artists and visitors from all over.

With a space of more than 500 m², an establishment of this size and characteristics, dedicated to restoration, in a town like Tàrrega, was something totally innovative in the 90s.

1994

In 1994, Restaurant Daus was born, a unique space where a cafeteria, restaurant, bookstore and games room coexist, creating unforgettable moments for the whole family.
 

1996

In 1996, given the growing demand for banquets and celebrations, we transformed the bookstore space into a spacious dining room for your daily meals and special moments.

2010

In 2010 we opened the El Set cafeteria in the new Swimming Club pavilion, a fresh and modern project that we managed with enthusiasm until 2023.
 

2015

Between 2015 and 2020, we brought our bar service to all the parties and celebrations in Tàrrega, offering the unmistakable touch of Daus at each event.

L’any 1994 va néixer el Restaurant Daus, un espai singular on cafeteria, restaurant, llibreria i sala de jocs conviuen creant moments inoblidables per a tota la família.

 

1996

El 1996, atesa la creixent demanda de banquets i celebracions, vam transformar l’espai de la llibreria en un ampli menjador per als vostres dinars diaris i moments especials.

 

2010

L’any 2010 vam obrir la cafeteria El Set al nou pavelló del Club Natació, un projecte fresc i modern que vam gestionar amb il·lusió fins al 2023.

2015

Entre 2015 i 2020, vam portar el nostre servei de barra a totes les festes i celebracions de Tàrrega, oferint el toc inconfusible de Daus en cada esdeveniment.

2020
